Darren Andrews

Darren’s professional background began in the Care of Adults with Learning Disabilities and Psychiatric nursing practice where he worked prior to taking up a post as Scheme Manager of a Supported housing project for a large housing Association in 1996.

Whilst with the Housing Association, Darren also managed supported housing environments for vulnerable adults with a variety of needs and as a General Needs housing manager.

In 2005, Darren was invited to join the training team of one of the top 5 IT training companies in the UK. Today, he continues to work with them and train as an Associate for us.

Darren’s qualifications as an IT trainer include:

Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) - Master Instructor
Microsoft Certified Application Specialist (MCAS) Master Instruct
or MCT
TPMA Certified Trainer
Associate Member of the Institute of IT Training

Mary Andrews

Mary’s professional background began in Adult and Psychiatric nursing practice within the Health Service.  Following 14 years working at Staff Nurse, Charge Nurse and Clinical Co-ordinator levels of both in-patient units and day centres, Mary left to join the housing sector.

After working as a supported Housing Manager for a large Housing Association, Mary became their Training & Development Advisor. Her role included developing, delivering and evaluating training programmes for staff working in domiciliary care, supported & sheltered housing environments.

Mary ensures that all training initiatives offered comply with the National Minimum Care Standards and requirements of the Care Act 2014.

Mary’s qualifications as a trainer include:

Chartered MCIPD
NVQ Level 5 Training & Development Strategy
Accredited Safeguarding trainer
NVQ A1 Assessor: Management, Customer Care, Health & Social Care
