By the end of the course, delegates will be confident in going beyond the basic features of Word to improve text and page layout of their documents and create personalised mailings to groups of people.

>>AIM
By the end of the course, delegates will be confident in using Word to create and alter
simple documents. For example, letters, memos and reports.

>>OBJECTIVES
By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:

  • Use Keyboard shortcuts
  • Use some of Words automatic features
  • Use document presentation features
  • Use section breaks
  • Use Outline numbering
  • Create Tables
  • Use Word´s Mail Merge Features to send a letter to many recipients

This course is run for a maximum of six delegates.

>>TIME TABLE SESSIONS

  1. Keyboard shortcuts Autotext and Autocorrect.
  2. Page setup, section breaks, Tabs, Indents and Outline numbering.
  3. Tables.
  4. Mail Merge and Labels.
>>REQUIREMENTS
Delegates should be confident in the essential features of Word such as basic
formatting and be confident with using the mouse.
